Shipping, Returns, and Payment Policies
Shipping Policies

We understand the excitement that comes with a purchase your products... you are eager
to receive it!  We are just as excited for you to get your purchase and start using the
products you purchase from us!  Since this is the case, the majority of our items ship within
1-2 business days from when you place your order.

You can determine your shipping charges by entering your zip code without any other
information when you have filled your cart.  Press "update" and your shipping charges will
be calculated for you. If you would like to use an expedited shipping method, please
contact us for rates and options.  

In stock items usually ship within one to two business days of the order, and you will be
notified of shipment via email.  If an item is ordered which is not currently in stock, it may
take up to one week to ship.  If the item is anticipated to be backordered for longer than
one week, we will notify you. The backordered item(s) will be shipped when in stock via
our standard ground shipping methods (US Postal Service).   All orders shipped to PO Box
or military addresses will be shipped via US Postal Service; however, you will need to
contact us for shipping quotes to PO Box or military addresses as the rates above do not
necessarily reflect the cost for deliveries to these types of addresses.

You will receive a shipment confirmation via email when your order has shipped; tracking
information will be included.

Please note that we do ship to Alaska and Hawaii; however, to place a shipment to those
locations, please contact us to discuss the best shipment options available.  

Standard Shipping Options

We ship US domestic orders using US Postal Service (generally priority mail).  This option is
designated as the Standard Delivery option.  This will ensure that we can continue to give
you the best possible shipping rate on all of your orders.  All orders should be delivered to
you between 3-6 business days from the time of shipment.

All orders shipped to PO Box or military addresses will be shipped via US Postal Service;
however, you will need to contact us for shipping quotes to PO Box or military addresses as
the rates above do not necessarily reflect the cost for deliveries to these types of
addresses.    

Shipping Materials

We recycle the shipping materials that we receive; therefore, you may receive your order
with styrofoam peanuts or other less-than-eco-friendly packaging materials.  We figure
that reusing less than desirable packaging materials is better than stuffing a landfill with
them.  We would appreciate you also continuing this cycle of re-use should you receive your
order with such materials enclosed.    

Multiple Box Charge

Once in a while, an order may require multiple boxes or an oversized box.  Should this
apply to your purchase, before processing your order, we will contact you with the
additional shipping charge required for proper shipment so that you may make any
adjustments desired.  This situation generally happens when orders involve a significant
volume of bulky or heavy items.


International Shipping

Canadian Shipping Policies

In addition to the general shipping policies set forth on this page, there are a few
specifically related to shipments to Canada.

Shipping Methods

Shipments to Canada will be processed using either First Class International, which should
result in receipt of your purchase within 10 - 15 business days, or US Priority Mail
International, which should result in receipt of your purchase within 3-5 business days.  We
will use our discretion based on the nature and size of the purchase to select the most
appropriate shipping method, but as a general rule, purchases under 4 pounds will be
shipped First Class International.

As shipments to Canada are international, customs or other delays may be encountered
which may cause shipments to take a little longer than anticipated.  If a circumstance
arises which requires additional fees realted to customs, etc., such charges will be the
responsibility of the purchaser.  We will notify you should we become aware of any such
circumstances as soon as we become aware of them.  We will, of course, notify you as soon
as we have shipped your item.


Return Policy

We understand it is not a perfect world.  Since it is not, there might be a rare instance
requiring the return of something you have purchased.  Please review our return policy
below for specific information.  

General Return Policy

  • You may return any unopened and unused products in original condition (no bite
    marks, fur, tears in packaging, scratch marks, etc.) within 30 days of receipt.

  • Items which are sold without any packaging attached must be returned with no signs
    of use, including fur, saliva residue, scratch marks, etc.  and may not be returned if
    they have been washed in any manner.

  • You must request a return authorization number by sending an email using the form
    you will find at the "Contact Us" page.   Please write the return authorization number
    on the outside of the package.

  • We cannot accept returns without prior notification.

  • Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return along with the
    reason for return.

  • You are responsible for properly packaging the items for shipment as we cannot honor
    credits of merchandise that are returned damaged.

  • Please insure your package so that if it is damaged in transit, you will not be liable,
    the carrier will.

  • We do not reimburse for shipping costs incurred to return items nor do we refund
    original shipping costs.

  • If you return an item without prior notification, after 30 days of purchase, that has
    been used, shows wear or has been damaged upon return, we will not be able to give
    credit for it.

Shipping Error

  • Once in a great while nature will interfere and you may receive an incorrect item.

  • Please send us an email through the "Contact Us" page, referencing your order number
    and the nature of the mis-shipment.

  • We will provide instructions for returning the item and obtaining the correct
    replacement.

  • All items must be reported within the 30 day return policy period to receive credit.

Exchanges

  • Did you order the wrong size or item?  The fastest means of exchanging is to place an
    order online for the correct item and return the item that you do not want in its
    original condition following the General Return Policy.

Refused Delivery

  • If your order is refused upon delivery and returned to us, we will charge a restocking
    fee of $20 plus any return shipping charges.

  • If your order is returned to us because of a mistake in the address that was entered by
    you, we will have to charge you for the return shipping charges.  Please review your
    shipping address prior to submitting your order to ensure the address you have
    entered has a mail receptacle, an apartment number (if needed), is a current mailing
    address, etc.

  • Please remember that if you use a PO Box for your shipping address, you must use the
    US Postal Service as your shipper to ensure delivery of your order because UPS cannot
    deliver to a PO Box.

Cancelled Orders

  • Please remember that we try to process orders within one or two business days of
    placement, so if you change your mind, you may  not be able to cancel your order after
    it is placed.

  • If you request that your order be cancelled and the order has been boxed but not yet
    picked up by the shipping service, you will be refunded the amount of the order less a
    15% restocking fee assessed on the total product price.

Method of Credit

  • We do not issue store credits or cash refunds.

  • We will only credit you in the same manner in which you made payment, so you will
    receive a credit to your Paypal account or to the form of credit card you used to pay
    for your order.  It may take a day or two to see the credit reflected on your account.


Payment Policy

We accept payment only in US dollars.  

We offer several options for remittance.  We accept:

  • Paypal, which enables you to remit payment either through credit card or electronic
    debit from your bank account
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Discover
  • American Express

We do not currently accept personal checks, money orders or wire transfers.
